Streetwear T Shirt Printing
Why is it so difficult to find a good printer for my clothing line??
Most printers don’t like to work with customers that order anything under 100 pcs. They haven’t built their business to handle streetwear t shirt printing and the small orders that come with it. If the order is small they will most likely brush you off.
How do you know this?
Because I have gone through this exact scenario back when I was running Monument as a brand. I became fed up dealing with printers that didn’t want my business. I decided to print for my self ( the reason that was a bad idea will be covered some other time).
How did you fix it?
I Started my t-shirt printing shop because I knew there were people out there that needed a printer to give them a good price on on lower quantity orders. My goal has always been to offer the highest quality streetwear t shirt printing at the best price I can possibly give. I built my shop to be able to set up and tear down small jobs quickly. We don’t run automatics keeping our cost per piece lower on low quantity jobs. This low over head allows us to be profitable on small orders.
Here is a tip. If you want to keep your costs low design everything in adobe illustrator. These files are the easiest to scale and we wont have to charge you any art set up fees with vector files. If you are not a designer find one. Craigslist and fiverr has a ton of designers that will work for cheap and make graphics for you in adobe illustrator.
Another Tip. To keep costs down keep print locations down. Every print location you add is literally going to double your print price. I have tried to find ways to lower the cost on multiple locations. It cant be done because each new print location doubles the amount of time it takes to print your shirts.
